　　Anhui JAC Automotive Co., Ltd. came into existence on September 30, 1999 by joint investment of 230 million shares from 5 sponsor shareholders: Anhui JAC Automotive Co., Corporation, Singapore Gold Lion Asia Pacific Corporation, Anhui Science And Technology Industry Investment Corporation, Anhui Mechanical Equipment Corporation, Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry Corporation, and currently employing 3700 people.

　　The company is chiefly involved in development, manufacture and sales of automobile and components, including medium-duty, light-duty carriage chassis, light truck, refine business vehicle and gearbox, with an annual production of 120,000 vehicles. JAC is in possession of nearly 2000 equipments of various sorts, including special equipments like large-scale presses (of 3000 ton or 4000 ton), numerical control machining centers and welding robots, as well as 40 assembly lines for machine work, pressing, welding, painting, and final assembly. The Refine business vehicle project started in 2001 and ready for mass production in 2002, took the gross investment of nearly 700 million RMB, occupying 80,000 square meters of floorage, and equipped with special equipments like welding robots. The production process is completely streamlined, designed to yield 40,000 units in a single shift. The investment scale and the technology of the project is top-notch in national business vehicle production.

　　For years，JAC's performance has been increasing in fast pace, revealing strong comprehensive competition strength. Our productions are not only famous in China, but also influence the international market, some being exported to Argentina, Turkey, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Southeast Asian Countries.

　　JAC owns advanced technological development equipments and methods. A comprehensive building of 22 million RMB contains product development, technical study, development project, technical management and computer application, and is equipped with 100M computer network and 400 research computers. Another 30 million RMB investment goes to a laboratory shop and testing laboratory for new products which combines the functions of product test and technological procedure test. We have established "JAC - Tongji Tongjie Automobile Research & Development Center" with Tongji Tongjie Science and Technology Co.Ltd. and "JAC Automotive·Hefei University of Technology Institute" with Hefei University of Technology. The successful implementation of CIMS demonstration project signals complete computerization from product development to production plan, and integration of 3 C's (CAD/CAPP/CAM). The MIS administrative system based on MPRII and the effective combination of product data management, 3C and MIS forms a fast design and manufacturing system supported by information technology. We have introduced advanced administrative systems like MRPII (ERP project is underway) to improve production, customer chain management and office automation, while promoting the overall management efficiency. Since 1998, JAC has received a number of authentifications including ISO9001 Quality System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System, and National Extra Secure Enterprise in 2000. Now we are preparing for the upcoming of ISO10015 Training Management System Authentication.
